How did you hear about us?*

There are a number of ways to qualify for the Income-Qualified Rental Efficiency Program. To note, at least 50% of the units must be occupied by income-qualified residents. To qualify, property owners or residents must be prepared to submit one (1) of the following documents for each property to be enrolled in the program:
  • W-2
  • 3 months of pay stubs
  • Energy Assistance Program (EAP) Participation Letter
  • Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP) Notice of Decision
  • Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC) Participation Summary
  • Medical Assistance Award Letter
  • Section 8 Award Letter

There may be additional funding available for properties that qualify and meet certain program requirements:

  • Property is on the Low-Income Rental Classification (LIRC) list
  • Property is located in Minneapolis Green Zone
  • Property is part of the Minneapolis 4D program

Rental license requirements vary by city in Minnesota. In order to participate in this program you attest to being in good standing with the city and all license requirements have been met.
